WRAP DRESSES
I made a few of these Rachel Wrap Dresses with Viscose Jerseys:
Red Ponte Dress
made with Iconic Patterns Knot dress Pattern – this is the perfect christmas dress – would look as lovely in any of the colours of Ponte we have in stock.
Baby Dresses
These will make even the hardest heart melt,
These dresses are made from the Qiutie kids fabric range and lined with cotton poplin fabrics.
There are a few prints from this range in the shop and I am ordering more to increase the range and include some cute prints for boys.
More Inspiration for kids clothes:
These are all made with cotton jerseys available online now.
The spotty denim dress is made using the Norah Pattern by Mouse House Creations. This pattern is available in a range of sizes from 6 months to 12 years and can be made as a dress with many variations or a tunic.
This is another Norah dress made in Cotton poplin. The bottom panel is fabric from www.pixalili.com – Irelands own fabric printing business.
These little dresses are all made and lined with Cotton Poplins.
Sweatshirts:
These are the sweatshirts I made for my Boys and modelled by Liam.
I used the French Terry from the shop- the red version is made with the brushed terry
and the green with the loop back terry. Both fabrics are really soft even after a few washes.
Boys T-shirts:
My boys will only wear long sleeves – which saves me a fortune in suncream!! So after a growth spurt over the summer – my eldest boy – the reluctant model had two t-shirts left in his wardrobe. This was not really enough so I made him this long sleeved tee in a combination of the striped cotton Jersey and the plain Petrol Blue cotton Jersey. He loves it, the jerseys are supersoft and the colours are really vibrant and for a boy whose favourite colour is blue – he is happy!!
Dresses:
Jersey dresses are super quick to sew up with a ballpoint needle and a zigzag stitch on any machine.
First up is a dress I made with the Viscose Jersey found in the special offer range. Its a perfect fabric – its just end of roll and not available to reorder any more. Once its gone its gone!!
This yellow floral ponte di roma fabric sold out really quick – I had just over a metre left and decided to make this dress to show off the fabric -I tried to reorder this colour but my supplier is no longer stocking it. It is available in the shop in the red version.
Woven Dresses:
I made this dress – The Sureau Dress By Doe and Deer Patterns in the tie dyed cotton Chambray. It’s so lovely and soft to wear – perfect for shirts, dresses and tunics.
Womens T Shirts
While I was making the dress above I realised Doe and Deer patterns have a free tshirt pattern – Plantain to download as a pdf. So I decided to try it out on the Aubergine Cotton Jersey. This t-shirt is fitted at the shoulders and flares to skim the hips. Its a lovely shape to wear and looks great with jeans. There is also a long sleeved version. Great basic pattern and a great one to try for free!!
