This is a plain Sports Lycra. Suitable for all activewear for any sport – running leggings, cycling shorts, tshirts and tops etc. Also suitable for dancewear and general dressmaking (it’s a great weight for a bodycon dress!!).

Red Sports Lycra

 

This is a plain Sports Lycra composed of 88% Polyester, 12% Lycra. Suitable for all activewear for any sport – running leggings, cycling shorts, tshirts and tops etc. Also suitable for dancewear and general dressmaking (it’s a great weight for a bodycon dress!!).

I’ve made leggings and sports bras from our Sports Lycra fabrics and find it is excellent. I recommend the Ninja leggings and Revolution top and anything By Fehr Trade Patterns.

Washing Instructions:  Washing instructions
Fabric Pre-Treatment Before cutting out your garment, wash and dry in a program you will be likely to use on the finished garment. This will allow any shrinkage to occur so you are not disappointed with the fit of the finished garment. Natural fibres can shrink up to 10%.  If you want to check the fabric first – wash a small sample comparing its dimensions before and after washing & drying.
